The Bullitt Foundation is committed to the protection and
restoration of the environment of the Pacific Northwest. The Foundation
invites proposals from nonprofit organizations that serve Washington, Oregon,
Idaho, western Montana, southern Alaska, and British Columbia. The majority
of grantees are citizen groups located in the Northwest that are working to
build and strengthen the environmental movement. |

("Online Networking for the Environment") is a
non-profit based in Seattle that provides technology assistance to
conservation activists and organizations in Alaska, British Columbia, Idaho,
Montana, Oregon and Washington. In a nutshell, we help people get
"online" and using email, the World Wide Web, and other electronic
networking tools to help protect the Northwest environment. Also offers a directory
that includes pretty much every conservation organization in the Pacific
Northwest, including Alaska, British Columbia, Washington, Idaho, Montana and
Oregon. |

Seeks to improve the effectiveness of nonprofits by
strengthening their boards of directors. |

Provides small grants to grassroots organizations
worldwide that are working for a sustainable future by combining all of the
following: protecting the environment, promoting cultural diversity,
empowering people to meet their basic needs, and relying on volunteers. |

An Innovative Network of Diverse Environmental Projects.
Earth Island Institute fosters the work of creative individuals by providing
organizational support in developing projects for the conservation,
preservation, and restoration of the global environment. EII provides
results-oriented individuals the freedom to develop program ideas, supported
by services to help them pursue those ideas, with a minimum of bureaucracy. |
